Michael McDonald Cary earned his law degree from West Virginia University College of Law in 2011 and is a member of the Mountain Honorary Society. In 2013, he became one of the youngest Chief Executive Officers in founding Cary Law Office PLLC located in Charleston, West Virginia.

Cary graduated from Capitol High School in 2003, and graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Charleston in 2007 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English, History and a minor in Applied Leadership Studies. In 2007, Cary was named Top Graduate of his class and received the President’s Award for Outstanding Senior.

Thereafter, Cary moved to Denver, Colorado as he was the sole student in the State of West Virginia to be chosen to participate in the Counsel for Legal Education Opportunity in Denver, Colorado in 2007.

Cary obtained his law degree from West Virginia University College of Law in 2011, and was a member on the Mountain Honorary Society, and a Lugar Trial Court Invitational finalist.

Initially, Cary was an associate at Bowles Rice LLP, and part of the firm’s Education Law Group which served school boards, regional educational service agencies and multi-county vocational centers throughout West Virginia.

Currently, Michael M. Cary is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Cary Law Office PLLC located in Charleston, West Virginia and currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Charleston Civic Center and West Virginia University’s Visiting Committee for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.
